Post pendulum question
greetings

i was wondering does anybody here make their own pendulum out of materials other than crystals? is there any drawback making a pendulum out of anything else rather than crystals that most pendulum are made out of? i dont have access to a pendulum and would like to make one.
there are a few stores that sells them but they are located too far away lol.

and one more thing, do you need a handle for each of your dowsing rods? are they necessary?

help would be appreciated

thanks

Sunfire--

This question actually probably belongs under the "pendulum protocol" heading of the forum. But just FYI, you can make a successful pendulum out of anything -- I often use fishing sinkers, and some old cowboys I knew used a steel washer or nut. Crystals are more esthetic and "fun," but if you're serious about dowsing anything will work if you follow the right process. The same applies for L-rods. The handles just make them easier to use. I've seen folks use a pair of coathangers. Looks silly, but it worked! :-D

Best wishes,
Paul

H SunFire,

A pendulum can be made from almost anything. I use stones and I also use one made of a plastic resin material with a piece of thread tied to it. Use your imagination, they all work. As I said in another post, rods can be made from various materials such as copper, coat hangers, brass, nickel, or willow branch. No need for a casing on them.

Happy dowsing,
