 Deviceless Dowsing?
I've always seen dowsing taking place with rods or related devices but the student training categories below on the dowsing forums have "device less" dowsing? Has anyone tried this? How exactly would this work?

Device-less dowsing essentially utilizes the same protocols for l-rod or pendulum dowsing. You simply utilize your body as the feedback indicator such as your hand or a finger instead of an external instrument. No matter which tool or system you choose to use from the training DVDs lessons, the source of data and your bio-indications remains the same.

There is discussion of device-less dowsing in the LearnDowsing DVDs, which everyone who ordered them should have very soon. I myself have often used device-less dowsing, and had some good successes with it. I like to think of it, though, as not so much being "device-less" dowsing. Rather, instead of using L-rods, pendulum, etc., your physical body serves as the "device."
Best,
Paul

 Deviceless Dowsing
I fiddled with deviceless dowsing one night and couldn't get the feel of it. Tonight, I did my cup dowsing, but left my pendulum on the table. I did my protocols, telling myself that a limp hand with spread fingers over the cup meant "no," while a more active limp hand with movement of the fingers meant "yes." I was successful first try. I'm going to be trying this more in the next few days to see how it goes. It would be nice not to have to depend on whether I had equipment with me. Give it a shot, in a way you feel comfortable with. Can't hurt! Good dowsing to all!

 Re: Deviceless Dowsing?
Anyone have any methods for Deviceless dowsing. The DVDs didn't really cover that much. I think I remember a blink strategy on there but thats it.
I heard Lee talking about a BLIP on a radar.
I've had some success with the blink approach but I need something more internal because my eyes start to dry out and I have to blink.
If anyone has any basic suggestions please let me know.
THANKS

 Re: Deviceless Dowsing?
I think Major Smith prefers the hand method as long as you are following all of the rules and protocols as defined within the traninig set, you'll be OK.
