Post News, news, and more news!
Hi, everyone!

I just got back late this afternoon from an overnight Boy Scout campout and backpacking practice hike in preparation for a ten-day high-adventure hike this summer in the mountains of northern New Mexico with my 14-year-old son. Man, are my feet killing me! That's good, though, because my wife is having mercy on me and not sending me off right away to do the chores she saved up, which gives me time to post some notes to the forum.

Not only am I back from a campout, but I'm also back after a fairly extended absence from the forum. I'm pasting in below a note about some of my more recent adventures (for those of you subscribed to my e-mail news list, RVIS_news, this will be a repeat).

I'm going to try to catch up with my reading and activity on the forum over the next few days. I'd also like to welcome two new moderators to the forum -- familiar faces, but committed to the development of dowsing: Lee Lehman and Andrew Usher. They will be a big help to keep the dust from settlling on our discussions!

(Paul H. Smith)

I just got back from a week in Las Vegas and thought I'd fill you in
on some of the news. First off, the Intermediate CRV class that we
wrapped up just before I flew out to Nevada was an enjoyable
experience for me and, I think, for all involved. Most of you know
that I usually do a demonstration session for each of my classes where
they give me a blind target for _me_ to do as they watch. I always
sweat these, since RV is not a 100% proposition and failure -- even
for me, the "expert" -- is always a possibility. This time, though it
worked. After several pages of descriptions, I had the impression
that it reminded me of an Antarctic research station. The target
turned out to be the Scott research station located at the South Pole.
Whew -- big sigh of relief!

I spent the week in Vegas visiting my parents, but did get to go see
some interesting folks. One was my fellow IRVA director John
Alexander. He's always fun to hang out with, and this time he and his
charming wife Victoria treated me to pictures of their safari to
Rwanda to see the mountain gorillas. Truly awesome! I also met with
my friend Robert Knight, legendary photographer of legendary rock 'n'
rollers (go see his new website, sponsored by Nikon, here: ) Robert has long been a "connector" in
the remote viewing community, and documented the meeting where the
International Remote Viewing Association was founded with his stunning
photography. In addition, I had a pleasant meeting and discussion
with consciousness writer Jeffrey Mishlove, holder of the only Ph.D.
in parapsychology from a mainstream US university (his website: ). We discussed psychokinesis (he is
author of "The PK Man: A True Story of Mind Over Matter"), remote
viewing, and a little bit about where the consciousness community
needs to be headed. I look forward to more such conversations with
him in the future.

Also, just to let you know: I'm consulting with some folks about
putting on an associative remote viewing class 19-22 March here in
Austin, TX. If you want to take my ARV class, this will probably be
your only chance before next fall at the earliest. Let me know of
your interest by e-mailing me through the website at
or calling (toll free) 866-229-7847.

Finally, we have had one spot come available in the March 27th Basic
CRV Course. If you're ready to commit, get in touch ASAP!

Begin your journey today...
