I just ordered the DVDs, so I haven't started the training yet. (Can't wait till they get here) I am a trained hypnotist and have been using a pendulum for years to get yes / no answers from the unconscious mind. I am really looking forward to the protocols described in the DVDs to expand my toolset.

Anyway, I have somettimes found myself wanting a pendulum and not having one, or even any string to make one. (I usually wear loafers so I can't take my shoelaces). In an office setting, somtheing that has worked well for me is to string together 6-8 paperclips and add a weight (sometimes a binderclip).

It takes about 15 seconds to get this together and works in a pinch.

Excellent suggestion! As you've just demonstrated, ingenuity can usually come up with something suitable in a pinch.
